First Spring

Fingers with leaves upon trees
Midmorning dew drops
Spring flowers blossom
Beaming lines of brightness
Sprinkling warmth.
Branch expand, buds arrive
Shades of pastels nestled
Easter baskets.

Fairytale

Volcanic crimson apple
Arsenic.
Eerie bristles caress with hatred
Round-faced pink jumpsuit
Running from Her:
Angelic necromancer
Filled with magic;
Sorcery.
Birds, critters, men.
Shelter round face
From fate.
Subtle wind, slipping through
Tree tops, leaves.
Sun nudges horizon
Wanting to succumb.
Blinded night, blinded knight.
Lead him to love,
To tenderness, but
Frozen existence
Dissolved with warm lips.

Silk ribbon
Piercing loud silence.
Joyful. Harmonic.
Sustain.

Douse waterfalls
Butterfly wings,
Floating golf balls,
And Spots with tails
Creating music.

Forest

Shaky birch tree limbs
Walking towards
Big black fingers nestled white
Clouds stare at me. Blinded
By the trapped sun.
Quiet like a blind, deserted forest,
In complete darkness.
Sitting down, focusing on flying
Notes in my head. Deep breath.
Gag! Too much perfume
Teacher of mine!
Nervousness creeps further,
Cotton fluff for a tongue
Play keys. Play notes. Play song.
No laughter? That's swell,
Keep playing, thinking
Almost through. Back to home
Again in the forest
A solid sycamore.
